Windows 10 update 1703 - Notes 9.0.1 crash

Hi,

I have upgraded my laptop to the newest build of Windows 10 through windows update. I tis release 1703. After upgrade, my Notes client started to cause a blue screen crash upon launch.
Looks like I am not the only one having that problem: http://borncity.com/win/2017/04/25/windows10-v1703-blue-screen-issues-with-ibm-notes-9-0-1/

I did uninstall Notes from my PC, deleted all the folders in program files and %AppData% and installed everything from scratch - Notes Client/designer/admin 9.0.1 followed by FP8 update. Now Notes is launching without crashing my system, but my local replica after initial replication does not receive any new messages. I need to use server replica to have my email working

It seems that current version of Notes client is not compatible with Windows 10 1703, so I am considering rollback on my PC and will try to block this update in group policy settings for my users.

I hope this will get resolved soon.

regards

Robert

Update [solved]

Hi,

just a quick update. Re-installing Notes client acutally did solve the problem with system crash. My replication issue was something to deal with my mail database. After 18 years of constant upgrades, I had to recreate it from scratch, which solved all the replication problems.

regards

Robert
